The UU College of Social Justice (UUCSJ) is entering its third year and has developed several programs specifically designed for seminary students. Join Rev. Kathleen McTigue, Director of the College, for a reception and Q&A.
The mission of the UUCSJ is to inspire and sustain faith-based justice action on issues of local, national and global importance. In service of this mission UUCSJ offers service learning journeys, justice trainings and long-term volunteer placements with justice organizations in the US and abroad.
Rev. Kathleen McTigue graduated from Starr King School for Ministry in 1986. She served as a parish minister for 25 years (Winston-Salem NC and New Haven CT) before accepting leadership of the UUCSJ in July 2012. The intersection of spirituality and justice-making is the focus of her current work.
