Graduate Association

Did you know that as a graduate of Starr King School for the Ministry, you’re automatically a member of the Graduate Association? The Starr King Graduate Association does not collect dues therefore making it accessible to all our beloved grads.

The Graduate Association Executive Team meet regularly to discuss graduate engagement, event/meeting plans, how they can support the work of the school, and more. You can contact the Graduate Association at alumni@sksm.edu. Access the bylaws using the button below or find meeting minutes in the SKSM Grad Association Facebook group.

She is taking a break from congregational ministry while she helps raise her three young children. She is also finding a little bit of time to explore other areas of interest including a course to help her place her anti racist work in a personal and historical location, perhaps better described as ancestral recovery for collective liberation. She has served three UU congregations since receiving full fellowship, the most recent being High Street UU Church in Macon, GA.

Rev. Heather Rion Starr – Secretary

Rev. Heather Rion Starr (she/her) graduated from Starr King in May 2005. She is married to Rev. Cathy Rion Starr (they/them) (SKSM ’10) and they have two amazing grade-school-age kids, Robin & Braden, and a rambunctious terrier-mix rescue dog, Dash. Starr King was a hugely significant part of her journey and she enjoys keeping up with what’s happening with the school now!
