Starr King students come to the school from a variety
of backgrounds. Each path is as unique as the person
who travels it. Most are already established in professions,
some are recent college graduates. Some grew up in Unitarian
Universalist congregations, while others found their
faith community as adults. Many have been active in
local church leadership. During their years at Starr
King, nearly all form bonds that last a lifetime within
a community committed to social justice and liberal
religious leadership.
Starr King graduates are at work in diverse ways, making news and making a difference in their communities and in the world. Read about our graduates work in the world.
Nearly every year since 1994, the Francis Balázs Scholars Program has brought a Unitarian Transylvanian minister to study at Starr King for a year. Read about our Balázs Scholars.
Our current students and graduates share their transformative experiences
