Our intern supervisors, who lead Unitarian Universalist churches, generously welcome our students into their congregations for nine months. During that time, students learn by direct experience and daily practice how to lead worship, initiate projects, work in teams and manage the wide variety of responsibilities that come with ministering to a church community.
The student intern minister placement program is supervised by Rev. Kurt Kuhwald, member of the core faculty at Starr King.
