The Rev. Dr. Sammons is a veteran of 42 years in parish ministry and mentored dozens of ministerial interns during that time. Sammons has served as a Graduate Theological Union and Starr King School trustee, a UUA Commission on Appraisal chair, a UUMA Good Offices representative, as president of the Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County and as a Starr King associate faculty member.
