Starr King School offers 14-week online
courses for fall and spring sessions. These classes
cover such topics as Unitarian Universalist history
and an introduction to theology for Unitarian Universalists.
Online classes are well suited to lay persons involved
in congregational and community work who want to ground
their focus in theological competency and creativity.
These classes are also suited for students from non-Unitarian
Universalist schools, ministers seeking continuing education
opportunities, and those considering the ministry.
Starr King graduates can receive scholarship assistance (in the form of waived fees) to take one online course each year. To apply, please e-mail the Online Education Director at cyoung@sksm.edu and state your request.

further their understanding of theological issues and
practices.
Classes meet for one day or successive Saturdays at
the Starr King campus and are taught by working professionals
and educators who share their expertise in small-group
settings. Students earn a half-credit for most of these
courses.
Starr King Graduates may take one course a year at
the school for free.
